If you are in the market for transportation jobs, you might be surprised to find that there are all kinds available. Some transportation jobs are for lower–level, such as public bus driving. But jobs in transportation can also include such jobs as helicopter pilots or private jet pilots. They can also include transportation manager jobs where you oversee other bus drivers, taxi drivers, or private jet pilots. If you just want any transportation job, you will most likely end up driving a taxi or bus. But if you are more specific about your preferences, you could shoot for the top and work for the rich and the powerful.

Every rich and powerful person has drivers and pilots at his or her disposal. Take, for example, the President of the United States. He is arguably the most powerful man in the world. Everywhere he goes he has drivers and pilots to take him there. They are usually people who served in the military, such as air force pilots, marines, etc. But he has them all the same.

You could go into the military and fly jets for the air force and then apply for the job to fly Air Force One. It is probably the most highly coveted transportation job out there. You would have a lot of responsibility, and it might even be a dangerous job; terrorists might try to kill you and replace you with one of their men. However, it would be quite rewarding to be responsible for flying the most powerful man in the world around. You would be traveling all over the world as he meets with other world leaders. You would need to be alert the entire time to make sure you are aware of any pending threats. You are a target in the sky and every enemy of the state will want to take you down. This is why air force pilots are considered for these positions. If you fought in a war or know all kinds of evasive maneuvers, then you are more equipped to detect missiles or other threats to the plane and know how to evade them.

The president also has limo drivers who are usually secret service members. They drive around with police escorts, which makes them an obvious target as well. You will need to know the city well to be able to travel immediately to any required destination without any warning whatsoever. You will also need training as a secret service agent. Due to these high qualifications, it is a lot harder to get these jobs, which is why most people who seek after transportation jobs go private or public. They either apply for bus and taxi driver jobs, or they look into driving their own limo or town car.

There are also those who have an affinity for flying. They learn to fly jets, planes, and helicopters. There are many public and private transportation jobs involving both of these skills. You could fly rescue helicopters for search and rescue teams. You could fly helicopters that fight wildfires. You could fly police helicopters or fly for one of the local news teams. You could also fly helicopters for some rich man and take him to his landing pad on top of one of the city’s skyscrapers. As for planes and jets, you could fly commercial airliners or private jets. There are all kinds of both. You could fly pop stars and other celebrities, or you can fly rich and powerful businessmen and women. All options require a great degree of skill in flight and a professional business to support it. People will not just hire anyone to fly them around. They need to know that you are good at what you do.

There are many rich and famous people who will not trust average people to fly them in private jets. They look into your background and upbringing. They like to see that you do not drink or have any alcohol or substance-abuse problems. If they think you might be getting drunk every night or even every once in a while, they will feel less secure and safe with you flying their plane. They like knowing that you do not go out and party. They like knowing that you do not smoke or drink. It tells them that you are very responsible and will take great care to make sure they get to their destination safely. It tells them that you will be focused and alert.

These things are very important when you are dealing with other people’s lives. When they hire someone to drive or fly them around, they feel much safer knowing that you do not have any problems like those listed above. They feel better knowing that you will be alert and prepared even when they are not. So it helps to avoid all substances if you are looking into transportation jobs. People need to know that you will not be drunk or hungover when you are transporting them around the world.
