Job Description

Job Summary: This position will be responsible for picking up eggs and delivering chicks to contract grower farms. You will be required to drive a tractor/trailer.

Tasks: SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until finishedtime will vary. Holidays and some weekend work required.

Operate electric pallet jack. Load stacks of boxes onto delivery vehicle using roller/dolly. Unload boxes of eggs at hatchery. Pick up cases/boxes of eggs. May also be required to load trucks with stacked baskets of placement chicks, drive them to designated farm, and unload them. Responsible for cleaning CMV. Follow all DOT and Tyson Fleet Safety rules and regulations. Work or drive in inclement weather.

Job Requirements

Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Class A CDL. Must have 9 out of the last 12 months or one year or more of verifiable Tractor/Trailer driving experience. Must pass a Road Test. Must pass mandatory DOT drug tests. Must be able to drive semi-tractor trailer to move eggs between locations. Must be able to operate Moffett forklift or possess ability to obtain proper license to operate for loading/unloading purposes. Must be able to lift (up to 50 lbs.), push, pull, pinch, grasp, bend, climb, twist, turn, and stoop. Must meet the Tyson Driver Evaluations System requirements.

Must have (6) six months of continuous work history with (1) employer within the last (24) twenty-four months.
