Description

Two positions - one fulltime, one partime

These positions coordinates and fulfills all transportation needs for our retirement community campus, which includes an independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and affordable housing units. The position accepts transportation requests and schedules appointments to optimize the time required to deliver residents, and then drives company vehicles to deliver residents to their planned events or personal appointment.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

A safe driving record and a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

The ability to handle multiple transportation requests at a time, and if necessary, prioritize, and diplomatically communicate the established priorities to residents and staff.

One or more years of working in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, and the ability to understand and relate to the needs of seniors. A CNA certification which provides knowledge of how to make appropriate transfer is very helpful!

The ability to project a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner to residents, families and co-workers.

Basic computer skills; knowledge of office automation software to include Microsoft Outlook (email & calendar).
