This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel powered tractor/trailer combinations short and long distances while complying with the Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson Policies and Procedures. Must have at least 1

year over the road experience, a good driving record and a valid driver's license. Must have a D.O.T. certified and meet D.O.T. regulations. This position will be stationed out of De Queen Truck Shop.

Must be able to push, pull, bending, sitting, walking, climbing, and some heavy lifting. Dexterity of hands, arms, legs, and feet Must be 100%. Must have good eye and hand coordination, Applicants from the following counties will be considered, Sevier, Little River, Polk in AR, McCurtain in OK. SHIFT AND HOURS WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING INTERVIEW PROCESS.

Job Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Must meet all the requirements of DOT to include 1 yr. OTR. Must have a valid CDL and DOT certifications. Must have computer skills. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Inside work in cold, damp, and wet environment.

Internal Applicants: Must have 0 written warnings in the past 3 months and must have 0 written warnings with suspensions in the past 6 months.
