Job Description

The Egg Truck drivers job is to haul buggies and supplies to the farm and deliver eggs back to the hatchery. They must accurately record all eggs picked up at each farm on the grower's ticket and list these amounts correctly on the egg room paperwork. The driver will also record the egg room temperature on each ticket. Each day a maintenance and temperature check must be done on the truck and trailer. The Egg Truck Driver will push full egg buggies, load/unload and stack/unstack cases of eggs . The Egg Truck Driver must have good written and verbal communications skills. All other duties assigned by supervisor. Driver will aslo be a back up for Chick Delivery.

Requirements

You must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience. You must have a valid Class A CDL your application is only active for the current month in which you applied. You will need to reapply next month to have an active application and be considered for employment.

Must have a valid CDL Class A operator's license.

Must be able to pass road test.

Must have a good driving record and be able to pass all DOT requirements for physical and drug test.

Must have good written and verbal communications skills.

Must be willing to work holidays and be on a call-in list.

Must be able to load on truck using the FOD Program.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Internal Applicants:

Must have 5 attendance points or less.

Must have no Written Warning/Suspension in past 3 months.

Must have at least 3 months employment.
