Schedule: Monday- Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring all customer pick up appointments are scheduled and maintained within scheduled times. Constantly communicating with carriers on missed appts times and communicates changes to appropriate personnel. Ensures correct ship dates are set. Reschedules appts in accordance with SOP’s. Responsible for Air freight – contacts IT and schedules for pickups. Handle CHEP paperwork daily and communicates with plants. Handles multiple systems (ex. JDA, Transportation, etc.). Continually communicates with SRC and management. Heavy e-mail work. Must be willing to cross train in other inventory positions and cover when needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 1-year related experience in transportation/trucking/distribution industry preferred.

Computer Skills: Strong data entry skills required.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal/written communication skills

Must have good phone skills and must be able to work well with others
