Location: Kentucky Hatchery, Monticello, KY

Schedule: Schedule based on weekly delivery demands.

Hours: Hours are according to the delivery schedule, which are a combination of 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd shift hours. OTR drivers are usually away four nights per week. Deliveries are made on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and there are approximately 2-5 deliveries per week. Wednesday is an on-call day.

Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for washing and disinfecting trucks, loading and unloading chicks, safely transporting chicks to customer according to time on delivery schedule. Others duties may be assigned. Minimum Requirements

Must have valid Class A CDL license with a clean safety record and one year verifiable experience operating a Class 8 Commercial Motor Vehicle with a clean safety record.

Essential Duties and Responsibilties

Timely delivery of Cobb products to all customers including the US, Canada and Mexico. (65%)

Delivers Cobb products to airports for shipment to international customers. (20%)

Showers into uniforms. Cleans and disinfects equipment as required. (10%) Other Duties, Responsibilities and Activities

Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Such as: Attends and actively participates in driver safety meetings, completes required D.O.T. reports and Ryder inspection forms, drive a production truck to move birds from farm to farm, if needed. (5%) Biosecurity/Animal Welfare/Safety Requirements:

The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines. Will be trained to recognize and comply with all safety policies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques. Must regularly lift and move of chick boxes weighing up to 50 pounds approximately 45 times, per each delivery and will regularly slide stacks of boxes weighing up to 300 pounds approximately 100 times, per each delivery. Must occasionally empty chicks from boxes weighing 30 pounds approximately 450 times, per each delivery. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit the majority of shift while operating the truck; walk; stoop, bend, use hands at shoulder height, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.

Tools and Equipment:

Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.

Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety goggles, chemical gloves, and rubber boots are required. Safety glasses are required.

During the current Pandemic (2020), all Team Members will be required to wear company issued facial coverings. Training will be provided to each Team Member specific to their job and their facility location in addition to signing an acknowledgement form they understand these expectations.

Team member is expected to identify, address and mitigate safety related risks.
