nn CDL A/B Ready Mix Drivers nnSUMMARYnnDrives truck equipped with auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites by performing the following duties.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. nDrives truck under loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water and starts mixer.nDrives truck to location for unloading.nMoves levers on truck to release concrete down truck chute into wheelbarrow or other conveying container or directly into area to be poured with concrete.nCleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.nSprays surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent adhering of concrete.nAssembles cement chute.nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESnThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.nQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.nnMATHEMATICAL SKILLSnAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.nnREASONING ABILITYnAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
