Responsibilities
The MarketPoint Fleet Supervisor will have oversight of the MarketPoint Mobile Marketing Vehicle Program. This person will be responsible for maintaining a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient growing fleet of customized vehicles ensuring we are meeting all required legal, safety and Department of Transportation requirements. In this role you will be responsible for managing external vendor relationships, development of operational controls and procedures and working with key stakeholders within the organization for managing costs and risks associated with the program. You will be the primary liaison with our market leadership throughout the country to assist with their needs on purchase, customization of the vehicles and any required operational training.
Applies legal, regulatory and safety compliance knowledge to reduce company risk
Manages compliance for vehicle related equipment, drivers and ensures activities comply with safety standards, laws and regulations
Expands business in a fleet environment
Collaborating on buying and customizing new vehicles
Establishes and manages relationships with vendors and suppliers
Partners with sales leadership on matters such as regulatory compliance, technical issues, specifications, safety, and maintenance
Works with other groups to prevent, identify and resolve equipment and service problems
Provides expertise and service to other work groups with regard to Fleet Services operations
Develops and maintains operational procedures related to drivers, maintenance and management of the vehicles
Develops quality assurance procedures to improve fleet reliability and customer service
Monitors and analyzes all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies
Analyzes failures and communicates improvement opportunities
Analyzes the effectiveness of operations
Ensuring the drivers are compliant
Making sure that any vehicles that need to be relocated are coordinated properly
Maintaining all required vehicle and driver documentation
Works with internal stakeholders to ensure Humana safety standards are met
Works with vendors to decommission vehicles as needed
Creates operational reports for leadership
Required Qualifications
Associates Degree
3 years experience fleet management experience
3 years in a management role
Working knowledge and understanding of legal, regulations and DOT requirements
Experience with managing large scale projects
Experience in expanding business in a fleet environment
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of MS Office Excel
Knowledge of Power BI
Experience with data analysis
Additional Information
Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance is required.
Travel can be up to 25%.
