SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring proper pickup and delivery of hatching eggs from local farms to local hatcheries over a designated route.

Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday 6 a.m.-4:45 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Timely pickup and delivery of hatching eggs from local farms to local hatchery
Cleans and disinfects equipment
Attends driver safety meetings and completes required D.O.T. reports


Other Duties, Responsibilities and Activities:


These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice such as: maintains egg inventory records, records egg deliveries.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must regularly lift up to 60 pounds. Must regularly push or pull 800 lbs . Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Safety: TM is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. Will be trained to recognize and comply with all safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements:


Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, 1-year verifiable Class A CDL experience operating a class 8 commercial motor vehicle with clean safety record.
