ROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Commute & Transportation Services team manages transportation planning and transportation demand management (TDM) programs for a large Puget Sound campus and corporate office facilities across North America. The team is dedicated to providing employees with a variety of innovative transportation options that reduce their reliance on driving alone.
JOB SUMMARY
The Transportation Program Manager (Americas) is responsible for managing the launch of new commute programs for corporate worksites across North America. This position also provides oversight for the day-to-day commute operations for a small but growing corporate campus in Arlington, VA. This position develops innovative technology and programs that promote the reduction of single occupancy vehicles and traffic congestion at client sites. This position provides leadership and oversight and establishes processes and best practices for all operational aspects of the program, including campus and commuter shuttles (in coordination with Shuttle program mangers), rideshare and active transportation programs (in coordination with TDM program managers), and parking (in coordination with Parking program managers).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the TDM Program Manager, the Sr. Transportation Program Manager and other internal team members to develop and execute tactical plans and processes that support the goals of the overall Commute & Transportation Services program.
Proactively develop relationships with area transportation organizations, TMAs, public agencies, site-level leaders and other internal stakeholders.
In coordination with the Americas Assistant PM, launch commute programs at new corporate worksites across North America, including launching applicable technology platforms (including Luum and other parking garage technologies), implement region-specific commuter benefits as determined by the client’s Benefits team, , and communicating all transportation programs and benefits to employees.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and central liaison on matters related to the day-to-day operations of the program.
Leverage team members to facilitate data analysis and reporting across all program elements, including program success metrics, ridership data, route performance data, environmental impact, and financials in order to recommend changes to existing programs and implementation of new services
Ensure that department budget goals are met. Develop operating plans and cost estimates for personnel, and service needs.
Lead and facilitate communication of best practices, policies, procedures and initiatives to support field operations. Ensure shared knowledge to implement process improvements. Facilitate process improvement by engaging appropriate resources in issue identification and resolution.
Direct employee engagement and marketing efforts as relevant.
Coordinate with modal SMEs to conduct Operations and Maintenance tasks related to commute infrastructure, including bike cages and lockers (TDM Program Manager), EV charging stations (Parking Program Manager), and other amenities.
ADDITIONAL SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide formal supervision to direct report(s), each responsible for a component of the overall program.
Approve recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.
Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
Prepare and deliver performance appraisal for staff.
Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE’s RISE values.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in urban planning, real estate, business, sustainability, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
5 years of experience working in planning, logistics, transportation demand management or related field where relevant skills can be demonstrated.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team, including remote positions, and provide leadership that inspires a team to excel in a highly demanding environment.
Advanced data collection and analysis experience.
Intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement.
Enthusiasm for / interest in sustainable transportation.
Desire to travel up to 20% of time.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES
PMI Program Management certification (PgMP), AICP, or other relevant certifications

OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Tableau or other data and reporting software
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills. Highly adaptable and flexible.

Communicate any / all potential workplace hazards and workplace procedures.
