Location: Des Plaines, IL
Pay
: $50-60K
Hours
: 8am-5pm – Flexible Hours
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and tracking.(International shipments)
· Receive documents and verify all shipment information entered in software system
· Examine invoices, bills of lading, and other shipment documents to ensure accurate and timely entry
· Verify that arrival notices are accurate and process payments to approved vendors
· Follow up with domestic/overseas agents for customers, to assist with operational questions or problems
· Prepare and send out customer invoices and expense estimates correctly and efficiently
· Resolve any billing of vendor payment issues as well as issuing credits if needed
REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years of experience within: Logistics or
transportation, or
distribution Preferred:
Logistics/Transportation or distribution experience
