Requires a valid Commercial Class A Drivers' License. n nKey Job Elements:nDriving mainly flatbed nSecuring freight to flatbed trailer with chains. No tarping requirednReading maps and planning trips nConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment nCompleting driver's paperwork (logs, trip reports, DVIR's etc.)nScheduling maintenance of equipment with the shop. nAbility to climb onto trailer nOperate OTR equipment safely nBind and secure loads. nEducation/Training:nClass A CDL license requirednQualifications & Experience:nMust have at least 2 years of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience (flatbed preferred)nCompliance with state and federal DOT rules and regulationsnEngaging personality with a stable work history nAbility to communicate with all levels of employees and customers nAttention to detail with driver's paperwork nBe able to climb onto and down from the trailer nPossess sufficient strength to tie down a load properly.nCompany Description:nnProgress Rail, a Caterpillar company, is an integrated rolling stock and infrastructure provider, delivering a full range of products and services to domestic and international railroad customers.
