Class A Truck Driver Quality Home Time
Position Description We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver in Cleveland, OH and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder

Driver Average $2,300 per week
Hourly Pay: $29.00 Per Hour with OT after 40 Hours
Hours Per Week: 45
hours per week
Layover Pay: $50.00 per Layover with 1 - 5 Layovers per Week
Layovers are in a Ryder Provided Hotel or Sleeper
Sign On Bonus: Pays you $2500 at 30 days and $2500 at 90 days
Schedule: Mostly Monday - Friday, with some weekends needed
Must Be Flexible!!
Ryder Trucks are Three Years or Newer
Deliver SOLO To: Within a 300 Mile Radius of Cleveland
Tractor Type: Day Cab, Sleeper and 26' Straight Truck
Trailer Type: 48' - 53' Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer, Conestoga and Curtainside
Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Rollers. Lift Gate and Moffet
Freight: Mix of Touch/
No Touch
Load Securement: Strapping, Tarping and Chaining

Requirements Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note:
Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
