Drives laundry truck between the laundry and customer locations, delivering clean linen to multiple locations and retrieving soiled linen to be returned to the laundry, while keeping to an established schedule. When at the plant, support efforts in the soiled sorting area through assisting in unloading carts, cleaning carts, opening new linen and assist in minor maintenance issues including mowing, snow removal, janitorial duties, truck maintenance, etc.
 

1.* Delivers clean and picks up soiled linen in a safe and sanitary fashion, meeting all regulatory requirements, operational guidelines, and meets or exceeds customer needs and expectations.
2.* Accountable for delivery and receiving documents, credit card transactions, safety and sanitation practices and truck maintenance procedures.
3* Performs daily pre-trip inspection of the truck and reports any mechanical issues immediately to the manager.
4* Fills trucks with fuel and checks all fluid levels. Also keeps outside of truck washed.
5.* Sanitizes the truck box between loads of soiled and clean linen and cleans the inside of cab.
6.* When unloading soiled linen carts at the laundry, weighs each cart and records the weight according to established procedures. Pushes each soiled linen cart to the area assigned for timely sorting by the Soil Sorters.
7. Gathers all necessary paperwork for each load prior to transport and provides paperwork to the appropriate person.
8.* Safely loads both clean and soiled linen carts onto the truck and secures all carts with straps to prevent movement during transport.
9.* Ensures safe and sanitary transportation of linen carts to and from all customer locations.
10.* Assist in the soiled linen process by emptying soiled carts, sanitizing carts, unpacking linen as needed, storing receivables and loading the water softener.
11.* Responsible for yard maintenance such as mowing, weed eating, trimming bushes, etc. After deliveries are complete for the day will assist with plant maintenance, snow removal, janitorial, etc. ','!*!Licensure:
Must have a current NE driver’s license within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
 
Experience:
Minimum two years experience with commercial truck or large farm equipment operation that would develop the skills necessary for proper operation of our laundry delivery vehicles. Must possess knowledge and application of appropriate driving skills and strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards
