Mako Waves Distribution is a new and emerging trucking company looking for motivated and professional Class A CDL drivers for local routes to hire NOW! Our company is contracted with Amazon to move freight specifically for them. Although partnering with Amazon, Mako Waves is a sole entity and you will be an employee of Mako Waves Distribution. You get the benefits of a big company while enjoying the personal relationships that come from working for a small company.  Amazon provides state of the art technology, equipment and logistics software.- Our facility is based in San Bernardino, CA and drivers will always start and stop at our lot as all our trips are roundtrip (Home after Each Shift). Virtually all loads are Drop and Hook. You can work as little as 3 days, or as much as 4 days, earning between $52,000 - $70,000 per year depending on number of shifts worked. Our partnership with Amazon provides steady work, and expanded operations during the peak months of November – December. Drivers are scheduled to work three (3) 13 hr shifts per week Sunday-Friday, with opportunities for overtime when Mako Waves operates for a 7th day during Peak. Wages start at $25 per hour with raises based on performance.  In addition, Quarterly Safety and Performance bonuses are also paid. In addition to extensive benefits, you also receive PTO, at a rate of 4% of hours worked (80 hours per year). As Mako Waves grows, the highest performing drivers will get priority toward new positions and pay raises.  $1000 signing bonus right now as well!! CDL Class A Truck Driver Overview: • Full time employment, 13 – Hour Blocks, with 3 CONSECUTIVE WORKDAYS available. • Local routes average 300-500 miles roundtrip. CDL Class A Driver, Minimum Requirements: • Must be at least 23 years old, with a minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience • Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records • No current CDL suspension or revocation • Must have a good driving record, less than 3 reported incidents in last 3 years, and no serious violations in the last 5 years. • Must pass a DOT physical, Drug Test and Background Check • Ability to effectively learn and operate a GPS • Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications • Must be flexible with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends) Why Mako Waves Distribution: We are an **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and only haul for Amazon, with a guaranteed 80 hours per Tractor per Week.
