Job Overview The Route Sales Conventional Driver is responsible forordering, delivering, and, or unloading our products for customerlocations on designated routes, in a courteous, professional, compliant,safe, and timely manner. In this role, the Route Sales ConventionalDriver is also responsible for stocking products on shelves and incoolers while ensuring that appropriate rotation standards aremaintained.This is a fast-paced position that stocks and faces productson shelves, displays, cold vaults, and in coolers, and, as with all ourdrivers, this role serves as an ambassador of our company and one of theworld's most recognized brands. Duties & Responsibilities Order, fill,merchandise, and rotate product on displays, cold vaults, and in coolerequipment, according to company standards Maintainand organizeCoca-Colastock and current marketing materials as needed, picking up damaged andout-of-date products including empty shells and pallets; sets up andmaintains merchandise and sales promotion displays Ensurethe neatappearance of all Coca-Cola Consolidated equipment and product inassigned accounts and maintaina safe work environmentFosterrelationships with account personnel and provide superior customerservice to all customers and accounts serviced Ensureproper accountingof product, cash, and assets daily; performdaily pre-trip and post-tripinspections on assigned vehicles Other duties as assigned Knowledge,Skills, & Abilities Shared company ethics, values, and excellentcustomer service skills Must be self-motivated with a high degree ofintegrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision ona timely basis Past job performance must reflect dependability,initiative, professional demeanor, and the ability to exercise soundjudgment Ability to work in a fast-paced continuousenvironment Abilityto lift, up to 50 lbs. of product repetitively Availability to work someweekends and some holidays Previous route delivery, direct storedelivery, stocking, merchandising products, or retail managementexperience is strongly preferred Excellent safety record. Ability toread, speak, write and understand English to perform basic math skills(addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Must have theability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment(i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) containing product loads for aminimum of 100 yards without assistance Minimum Qualifications Validdriver's license for your state of residency and excellent drivinghistory for the last seven years, as reflected on the current MotorVehicle Report Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or permit (Class A) orthe ability to obtain such Has the ability to pass and maintain D.O.T.physical requirements Preferred Qualifications Valid driver's licensefor your state of residency and excellent driving history for the lastseven years, as reflected on the current Motor Vehicle Report CommercialDriver's License (CDL) or permit (Class A) or the ability to obtainsuch Has the ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirementsWork Environment Work environment will vary, including but not limitedto exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage...
