A maintenance manager manages budgets, personnel, and public records. A maintenance manager establishes and maintains positive work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties. A maintenance manager leads collaborative planning and project implementation efforts.A maintenance manager should have a bachelor's degree, preferably in science. A maintenance manager should also have five years of maintenance work experience. A maintenance manager must likewise have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
