Hampden Medical Center Location : US:PA:Enola Work Type : Full Time FTE : 1.00 Shift : Day Hours : 6:00a - 6:00p Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center will bring acute inpatient medical services to communities in Cumberland, Perry, and York counties. The facility, set to open in the Fall of 2021, will feature 108 private inpatient beds and an attached outpatient medical office building. This is a unique opportunity to be part of opening a new hospital with a highly collaborative and team-oriented culture. JOB SUMMARY: Dispatchers will be Responsible for functioning as the main operator of the command/operations center. The Security Operations Center functions as acenter where calls for security assistance are received, a radio dispatch center for incoming and outgoing radio communications, amonitoring station for access control operations, e911 emergency application, Radiation Monitoring Systems, a video surveillance center where cameras can be viewed both live and historically, and a location where documentation on all department activities occurs. A computer aided dispatching (CAD) and incident report application is also a primary responsibility of this position.
